During the past 10 years Louisa has been operating her own catering business in Henley on Thames, further details can be found on www.louisaclark.co.uk

With her passion for food she will be continuing to offer menus of fresh local produce to enjoy in the barns, but also would like to offer the whole venue to guests who would be celebrating a special occasion such as a wedding or birthday.

Luxury Mackerel and lime paté
served with crisp bread.

Salumi
A selection of Italian cold meats accompanied by a fresh tomato & basil salsa, dressed with balsamic vinegar & served with olive bread.

Scallop and pancetta bake

Halloumi
Delicious Greek cheese served with tomatoes, fresh mint & dressed with aged balsamic vinegar. Served with olive bread.

Seasonal rustic chowder
Accompanied by chunky fresh bread.

Mexican bean salad
with hummus & pitta bread.

MAIN COURSES

All main courses served with vegetables of the day.

Roast Guinea Fowl
Served with a sauce made from Suffolk cider, cream and apples.

Loin of local Pork
Slow roasted and served with a cream, peppercorn and brandy sauce.

Luxury Seafood Lasagne
Seasonal and locally sourced seafood to include plump scallops, juicy tiger prawns, local crab, vine tomatoes, garlic and basil topped with bechamel, nutmeg, parmesan and gruyere cheese.
N.B. This dish is for two people & has  £2.00 supplement per person. (It is seriously good!)

Goanese Prawn Curry
A medium hot curry with tropical fruits, prawns and basmati rice.

Boeuf Bourguignon
Tender local beef cooked in red wine topped with a savoury scone crust.

VEGETARIAN MAIN COURSES

Chestnut, Mushroom & Abbots Ale Casserole
Topped with a puff pastry crust served with a selection of fresh, root vegetables.

Roasted Butternut Squash
With courgettes, red peppers, cherry tomatoes, garlic, red onions and wild rice.

Goanese Vegetable Curry
A medium hot curry with added tropical fruits for that special flavour.

Roasted Mediterranean Vegetable Lasagne
Cooked in a vine tomato, garlic & basil sauce topped with béchamel, nutmeg, parmesan & gruyere cheese.

PUDDINGS

Belgium hot chocolate pudding with chocolate sauce.

Banoffee Pie.

Hot sticky toffee pudding with custard.

Apple and cinnamon winter crumble and custard.

Bananas, raisin bake with dark rum syllabub.

A cheese selection with assorted biscuits.

Menu is priced at £18.00 for two courses and £22.00 for three courses.

OUR CHEF

Christine is our in-house chef who is responsible for creating our tempting and tasty ‘Dine-in’ menu.

Christine is a qualified Chef and was indeed Head Chef at the American Embassy. She has also sailed the high seas catering for large groups of guests onboard tall sailing ships. She has experience in catering for many events including dinner parties, weddings and birthday celebrations. Her ideals include using as many locally sourced, organic & free range foods as possible. Dishes are freshly prepared for you on the day you wish to ‘Dine-in’ but please be sure to place your orders in advance.
