A 25% booking deposit is required to make a booking with us. Your dates are not reserved and confirmed until the deposit payment has been taken and authorised. The balance of your holiday payment will fall due no later than one month before the commencement of your holiday. ‘White Horse Farm’ reserves the right to cancel a holiday where full payment has not been received by the due date having reminded our clients.
If you are forced to cancel your holiday due to unforeseen circumstances, you must inform ‘White Horse Farm’ in writing or by email immediately. In all cancellation situations, deposits are forfeited. We will make every endeavour to re-let the property but you will remain liable for full/part payment if we are only able to re-let part of the agreed period. We strongly advise that you take out travel and cancellation insurance to cover yourselves for this eventuality. Insurance cover should cost approximately £10 from any reputable Insurance company. From January 2012, ‘White Horse Farm’ will be charging a booking fee of £10 to accompany all reservations – this incorporates credit/debit card & administrative costs.
The maximum number of guests is restricted to numbers stated on the website and agreed with the owners of ‘White Horse Farm’. We reserve the right to refuse admittance or accommodate extra guests without seeking prior consent. The owners reserve the right to enforce extra payment if this condition is not adhered to. In addition, we reserve the right to refuse entry/bookings from guests who may in our opinion be unsuitable for the property concerned.
No liability is accepted for any injury, loss or damage to guests and/or their belongings, damage by or to any third party or for damage to any motor vehicle or its contents.
In the unlikely event a property is not available through circumstances arising out of our control such as a breakdown of domestic appliances, plumbing/wiring problems, exceptional weather conditions, health or accidents, we may be forced to cancel a booking but will ensure that we will do our utmost to find alternative suitable accommodation, which, if not acceptable, all monies will be refunded.
Any damage to the property is the responsibility of the hirer and the cost is payable upon demand – this is at the owners discretion and does not include minor things like broken glasses, although we would appreciate it if you tell us before your departure. If deemed appropriate, we will levy an extra cleaning charge if properties have been left in an unacceptable condition.
The owners of ‘White Horse Farm’ reserve the right to enter the properties at any reasonable time with or without any maintenance staff for the purpose of repairs in the event that they may become necessary although we reserve your right to privacy and will not disturb you unless the situation is absolutely necessary.
We request that guests arrive no later than 8pm without previous consent and depart no later than 10.30am unless previously agreed with the owners. A charge will be made for canine visitors which will range from £10 - £25 to be agreed with the owners prior to booking. Please ensure that dogs are never left unattended during your stay and that they are kept off the furniture and beds.
We would appreciate it if the properties are left clean and tidy upon departure, and make certain that the properties are not exposed to any fire risk during your stay. Please ensure properties are securely locked and windows closed whilst you are out.
We apologise if this all sounds very formal, but certain legal points have to be covered.
We promise everyone a comfortable and relaxing stay at ‘White Horse Farm’ and we will do everything within our power to make your holiday a happy and memorable one.
